Warn clients about tax scam

Peel police have issued an alert because they’ve received “numerous complaints about scammers who purport to be with the Canadian Revenue Agency and [who] demand personal information from unsuspecting victims,” reports CP24.

So far, victims have been contacted via phone, mail and email about CRA refunds or back taxes that are supposedly owed. Read more.
