The head of the IRS says more than half the people who will phone the tax agency next year may not get the help they’re looking for, reports Forbes.

Those who call in can expect to wait 34 minutes to reach an IRS representative, commissioner John Koskinen says.

A budget cut of up to US$341 million in 2015, as well as a host of freshly passed laws the IRS must now enforce, are making it difficult for the agency to do its work, he says.
