Reuters says companies such as Apple, McDonalds, Google and IKEA will all face pressure this week when asked about “their European tax deals” during a hearing run by the European Parliament’s tax committee. As it stands, there are rules in place that “prohibit EU countries from giving some companies an unfair advantage” through special deals. Read more.
