If so, note that the CRA has changed how you’re able to gain access to a business’ online tax information. The CRA has announced that, as of May 15, Form RC59 will no longer be used to authorize online access to such information. Instead, you need to complete and submit an authorization request. The upside is you’ll have the information in five days or less, compared to 15 days, says the CRA. Even after May 15, Form RC59 can still be used for regular mail and phone requests.
