Top 20 wealthiest Canadians

While Canadian Business’ Rich 100 list doesn’t change often, the movement that does occur can be dramatic.

Business bigwigs like the Thomsons, the Irvings and the Saputos are all there this year as expected—with some getting even richer—but there are also newcomers this year. In addition, some long-time tech giants have fallen from the ranks.

The list reveals their net worth, major holdings and the direction in which their family fortunes are headed.
