Postponing your first cup of coffee until 9:30 a.m., finishing your toughest work before lunch, and brushing your teeth at 2:30 p.m. are a few suggestions from Quartz to maximize workday productivity.

Quartz also suggests getting up around the same time every day, sending emails that don’t need an immediate response before leaving for work, and zoning out on your commute to jump-start creative thinking.

Taking a real lunch break and having your second cup of coffee around 2 p.m. will keep your energy boosted, says Quartz. Including a workout in your day will also improve alertness.
