Read: Employees want better health plans An international survey of more than 12,000 workers finds 70% don’t have regular time for creative or strategic thinking, while 66% don’t get to focus on one thing at a time and 50% don’t have a connection to their company’s mission. But there’s hope. The writers teamed up with the Harvard Business Review and found that employees are much more fulfilled and productive when four key types of needs are met. They are physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. So to help your staff feel more engaged: give them time to stretch, tell them you appreciate what they do, let them focus on their tasks, and show them how their work fits into the company’s goals.
