If you’re thinking of hiring more millennials, make sure you understand their values as well as how to train them.

For example, some young employees prefer to check in with their managers more frequently than older colleagues, such as a few times a day, to share new ideas, reports CITopBroker. Millennials also look for client-service tips and mentors while getting up to speed on industry best practices.

Part of the reason for this, adds CITopBroker, is younger employees have typically spent the majority of their pre-work years in university, where professors provide constant feedback in structured environments.
