Don’t put your health on the backburner

When you’re too busy with deadlines and clients, the last thing you want to do is exercise.

But, staying healthy and energized is just as important as checking items off of your to-do list. Customers will notice if you’re tired and stressed, and skittish investors will lose confidence if you seem like you’re off your game.

Even getting a half hour workout can be challenging, however, if you travel regularly to both meet with clients and providers and attend seminars.

And that’s exactly why airports around the world are adding spas, gyms and yoga rooms to their list of available facilities, reports Financial Times. Rather than working, shopping or eating to fill the time between flights, execs are encouraged to take some time to relax or get their muscles pumping.

“If you’re flying, you often eat five bad meals a day because you’re bored,” personal trainer Kathryn Freeland told FT.com. She also says there’s time to do work on the plane, so use the time before the flight for more constructive activities.
