So the law group is promoting Make a Will Month this November. The association has resources for the public and advisors for planning an estate and spreading awareness about the importance of wills. It also highlights the importance of planning ahead in case a client gets Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. There are already 747,000 people living with Alzheimer’s or dementia in Canada, and in the next 15 years, that’s projected to double, notes the law association.
