They make $86,240 on average, according to BI, and 59.5% of people surveyed say that’s too much. Read: Switch clients to your form of comp Advisors were ranked third-most overpaid, below chief executives, who make $176,840 a year. In first place were financial managers, who make $123,260 on average, and who are thought to be overpaid by 77.3% of those surveyed. Also on the list are real estate brokers, lawyers, dentists, entertainment agents, athletes, and pharmacists. Surgeons, who ranked ninth on the list, actually make the most on average, at $230,540. The most underpaid job? Agricultural workers. They make an average income of $21,920, and were ranked very or somewhat underpaid by 89.9% of people surveyed. Read more here.
