Vanguard launches 3 ETFs

Three new Vanguard Investments Canada ETFs began trading on the TSX Thursday.

The Vanguard Conservative ETF Portfolio (TSX:VCNS) seeks to provide a combination of income and moderate long-term capital growth by investing in equity and fixed income securities with a strategic allocation of 40% equities and 60% fixed income.

The Vanguard Balanced ETF Portfolio (TSX:VBAL) is aimed at providing long-term capital growth with a moderate level of income by investing in equity and fixed income securities. The strategic allocation is also 60% equities and 40% fixed income.

The Vanguard Growth ETF Portfolio (TSX:VGRO) focuses on long-term capital growth by investing in equity and fixed income securities with a strategic allocation of 80% equities and 20% fixed income.

The management fee for each is 0.22%.

The three new additions bring Vanguard’s total in Canada to 36 ETFs with about $14 billion (CAD) in assets under management, the company said in a release.
