Investors demand low-volatility products

People are buying stocks again, sending equities on an upward trend.

That’s largely because people are positive about economic prospects in the U.S. (Europe, China and Canada aren’t yet in the same boat).

At the same time, investors have upped their demand for low volatility stocks, pushing them to the top of the S&P 500. But what happens when the prices of these securities start to slide to reasonable valuations?
