Invesco to launch five new ETFs

Invesco has announced the filing of a preliminary prospectus with the Canadian securities regulators for five new PowerShares exchange-traded funds (ETFs), nearly doubling the number of ETFs the company offers on Canadian exchanges.

The new PowerShares ETFs are:

• PowerShares Senior Loan (CAD Hedged) Index ETF
• PowerShares FTSE RAFI Canadian Fundamental Index ETF
• PowerShares FTSE RAFI US Fundamental (CAD Hedged) Index ETF
• PowerShares FTSE RAFI Emerging Markets Fundamental Index ETF
• PowerShares S&P 500 Low Volatility (CAD Hedged) Index ETF
