Invesco Canada has introduced 10 new T-FLEX series on its Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio and PowerShares Tactical Bond Fund.

The group of T-FLEX series offers investors annual target distribution levels that aim to generate steady, tax-efficient cash flows. Each series is structured to pay out a fixed, monthly distribution that’s reset at the end of each year.

The portfolio and fund mentioned will now be available in T4, T6, F4 and F6 series. The T4 and F4 will target a 4% annual distribution level, while T6 and F6 will aim for a 6% annual distribution level (the company notes the F4 and F6 series are available exclusively through fee-based advisors).

The Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio will also be available in PT4 and PT6 series, which will offer 4% and 6% annual distribution levels, respectively. These two options are available for households who invest, in aggregate, a minimum of $100,000 in Invesco Canada Funds.

The launch of this new series of funds is based on past demand for the T-FLEX series.

Invesco’s capital yield classes were closed to additional investment on June 14, 2013, following the Federal Budget’s elimination of the tax advantages of character conversion transactions.

However, the company then opened the previously restricted trust versions, or the funds, to non-registered investors.
