Horizons ETFs is extending its 0.02% rebate on Horizons S&P/TSX 60 Index ETF’s annual management fee to at least Sept 30, 2015.

That means the effective annual management fee on HXT will be five basis points (0.05%), plus applicable sales taxes.

With the rebate, HXT has fees of less than half of any other TSX 60-linked ETF in Canada. Further, HXT has not paid any taxable distributions. The fund’s structure, which involves total return swap-based ETFs and their respective swaps, means Horizons does not anticipate any future distributions.

Horizons currently offers five total return swap-based ETFs, including the Horizons Cdn Select Universe Bond ETF.
