Harvest announced on Tuesday it has filed a preliminary prospectus for an ETF focused on the space industry — the first of its kind in Canada, according to a release. The Harvest Space Innovation Index ETF (ticker: ORBT) will follow the Solactive Space Innovation Index. “ORBT is another first in Canada for Harvest and will provide investors with access to some of the most prominent space innovation companies in the world” said Michael Kovacs, president and CEO of Harvest, in a release. The ETF will invest in large-cap companies in North America and other developed markets that offer products and services related to the space industry, such as satellites, space probes, space launches, space flight and tourism, and space stations and habitats. Harvest will act as the fund’s promoter, trustee, manager and portfolio manager and will also be responsible for the ETF’s administration.
