The Dynamic Alpha Performance II Fund and Dynamic Premium Yield PLUS Fund are based on CSA’s National Instrument 81-102 Investment Funds, Dynamic said in a release. Dynamic Alpha Performance II Fund looks for investment opportunities on the long and short side of the portfolio to obtain positive returns, regardless of the overall direction of the stock market. The fund aims to protect capital through a wide range of economic and market environments while earning risk-adjusted equity or equity-related returns that aren’t correlated to major stock market indices, the release said. Dynamic Premium Yield PLUS Fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing directly in U.S. equities, writing call or put options on the securities. The fund uses alternative investment strategies including leveraging, mainly created through the use of derivatives, the release said.
