The Northwest Territories hopes to revive plans for a 1,200-kilometre pipeline to Alberta as demand and prices for natural gas rise, reports Financial Post.

The Northwest Territories hopes to revive plans for a 1,200-kilometre pipeline to Alberta as demand and prices for natural gas rise, reports Financial Post.

The Post adds Exxon Mobil Corp., Conoco Phillips Canada and Royal Dutch Shell Plc. all have a stake in the $16.2-billion Mackenzie Gas Project. Though NWT Premier Bob McLeod wants to see it move forward, chances are slim now thanks to advancements in drilling techniques.
