Invesco Trimark has announced it is offering its five Invesco Intactive Accumulation Portfolios within a mutual fund corporation structure. This allows investors to switch between portfolios within a non-registered account without triggering a taxable disposition.

“The response to Invesco Intactive has exceeded our expectations, and we believe that creating these corporate class portfolios provides investors with more options and greater flexibility,” said Jamie Kingston, senior vice-president of product management and development at Invesco Trimark. “We’ve made a strong product offering even better.”

The corporate class versions of the funds will invest in the corresponding Invesco Intactive Accumulation Portfolio, which feature:

  • Strategic asset allocation through complementary investment styles, asset classes and geography;
  • Tactical asset allocation on a portion of each portfolio, designed to capitalize on near-term opportunities and provide added downside protection;
  • A true combination of actively managed funds and index-based strategies, including PowerShares Funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs);
  • Diversification using asset classes that have historically outperformed in various major economic environments;
  • Hedging of approximately half the foreign currency exposure in each Portfolio, seeking to reduce the currency risks of investing beyond Canada.
