Winners of Les conseillers à l’honneur! announced

Conseiller.ca, French-language sister publication to Advisor.ca, announced the winners of its annual Les conseillers à l’honneur! award program on Tuesday in Montreal.

The program highlights Quebec financial advisors who have made exceptional contributions to their profession.

Gilles Garon, financial planner and financial security advisor, Dumais Sauvageau Garon – Cabinet en planification financière, received the Emeritus Advisor award, which is given to an advisor whose achievements have contributed to the development of the advisory profession. The Conseiller jury based its decision on his professional background, his leadership, his dedication to the community and his expertise.

Jean-Philippe Vézina, financial planner, investment advisor, financial security advisor and group insurance and annuity advisor, IG Wealth (équipe Jean-Maurice Vézina), was awarded the Advisor Under 40 award. The jury highlighted his level of commitment to the profession and to the next generation of advisors.

Janick Tremblay, senior wealth and portfolio manager with Desjardins Securities, received the Most Engaged Advisor in the Community award for her philanthropic achievements and strong community involvement.
