Home Breadcrumb caret Industry News Breadcrumb caret Industry TSX launches 2 new indexes on Monday A third index will be released at a later date By James Langton | November 15, 2019 | Last updated on November 15, 2019 1 min read The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) announced on Friday that two of its three new indexes — the S&P/MX International Cannabis Index and the S&P/TSX Small Cap Select Index — will be released on Nov. 18. A third new index, the S&P/TSX Cannabis Index, will debut at a future date that has yet to be announced. The S&P/MX International Cannabis Index will track cannabis companies that are trading on the TSX, the TSX Venture Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), or NASDAQ. The S&P/TSX SmallCap Select Index includes components of the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index that “have a demonstrated track record of generating positive earnings,” the TSX stated in a release.
