Robert Eby to chair Advocis board

Financial advisor association Advocis has appointed Robert Eby to lead its board of directors, taking over from Abe Toews.

Eby is an executive financial consultant with Rob Eby & Associates and IG Private Wealth Management in Winnipeg, where he’s worked as an advisor since 2006. His career began in IG’s information technology department in 1987.

Eby previously served as president (2010-11) and treasurer (2007-09) of Advocis’s Winnipeg chapter.
