Lucchese, who has more than 20 years of experience at independent investment firms and bank-owned dealers, will lead Raymond James’ Canadian corporate finance, advisory and underwriting efforts in the real estate sector. “I am excited to join a great firm and look forward to joining a strong team dedicated to helping our corporate real estate clients through borderless solutions to help them grow and thrive,” Lucchese said in a statement. Raymond James’ global real estate team includes 31 investment banking professionals and eight equity research analysts covering 121 companies, according to a release. “Real estate is an important sector and we are excited to add someone with [Lucchese’s] experience and reputation to the team,” said Craig McDougall, senior managing director, head of investment banking and head of mergers and acquisitions with Raymond James.
