The OSC has added three new members to its Securities Proceedings Advisory Committee (SPAC), which provides input to the Office of the Secretary on policy involving proceedings at the OSC’s administrative tribunal. The new members of the committee, which is comprised of securities litigators and staff at the OSC, are as follows: Karen Manarin, a former deputy director of enforcement at the OSC who now heads the RCMP’s Integrated Market Enforcement Team (IMET) in Toronto Doug McLeod, partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Natalia Vandervoort, senior counsel with TD Bank Group Five members recently left the committee following the completion of their three-year term.
