(March 26, 2008) BMO Investments is seeking unitholder approval for the merger of BMO U.S. Equity Class and BMO Global Dividend Class, saying the move would provide greater diversification for holders of the U.S. portfolio.

The merged fund would follow the investment objective of the Global Dividend Class, which is stated as being “to achieve a high level of total return, including dividend income and capital gains, by investing primarily in dividend-yielding common and preferred shares of corporations from around the world.”

Meetings of shareholders of each portfolio will be held on or about May 5, 2008. If approved, the merger would be effective on or about May 9, 2008.
