(August 1, 2008) Horizons BetaPro has a had a pretty good run with their exchange traded funds —they’ve reached about $1.75 billion in assets under management — so it’s only natural that they’d turn their non-ETF products into this hot selling investment option.

On Friday, the company announced that it was finished doing just that. “We’ve experienced tremendous growth in our ETFs and have decided to close our non-ETF line-up to allow us to focus on managing and growing our ETF business,” says Howard Atkinson, president of BetaPro.

New additions to the ETF lineup include the Gold Bull Plus Fund, the Oil Bear Plus Fund, The S&P/TSX 60 Bear Plus Fund, and the S&P 500 Plus Fund.
