(July 14, 2008) IA Clarington Investments has announced an expansion to its corporate class fund lineup, adding five multi-manager portfolios and two mutual funds.

The added portfolios include the series A and M units of the Distinction Prudent, Conservative, Balanced, Growth, and Bold portfolios. Series A and F units of the IA Clarington Canadian Leaders fund and IA Clarington Canadian Small Cap fund are also added to the corporate class roster.

“Investors now have the ability to switch between a broader selection of funds, as well as Distinction Portfolios, without triggering taxable capital gains,” said Eric Frape, senior vice-president, product and business development at IA Clarington. “This option gives clients the flexibility to make changes to their investment portfolio over time and as their investment needs change, while deferring taxes.”

The company also launched the Target Click 2030 Fund, the latest in its lineup of target-date funds, which matures on June 30, 2030.

“With the addition of the IA Clarington Target Click 2030 Fund, investors will have an option with a longer investment time horizon, greater equity exposure and growth potential with the guarantee,” said Frape.
