The Dynamic Energy Evolution Fund aims to provide long-term capital appreciation and income by investing in a portfolio of companies involved in renewable energy and related activities, according to a release. The fund, which has a management fee of 1.85%, is actively managed by Jennifer Stevenson, vice-president and portfolio manager; Frank Latshaw, vice-president and portfolio manager; and Oscar Belaiche, senior vice-president and portfolio manager. According to the release, Stevenson has been active in the energy industry for almost 30 years, and Latshaw has focused on infrastructure for the past nine years. “Climate change action has created a secular tailwind for those companies involved in the global transition to renewable energy,” Mark Brisley, managing director of Dynamic Funds, said in the release. “This new fund – managed by portfolio managers with deep experience in the sector – lets investors seize on the compelling opportunities that continue to arise.” Staff The staff of Advisor.ca have been covering news for financial advisors since 1998.
