Marquest Asset Management has announced the appointment of Sean Rogister as managing director of Marquest Fixed Income Inc., its fixed income and credit strategies focused subsidiary.

Rogister has more than 20 years of experience building and leading fixed income and investment management related businesses in the financial services industry, including a 10 year stint with the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan.

At the same time, Marquest has named Andrew Bentley, formerly president of Navina Asset Management, as executive vice-president.

The company has also named Alice Tsang as portfolio manager. She rejoins Marquest after a year at Octagon Capital.

“We expect the introduction of such capable professionals with a diverse and complementary range of skill-sets will augment the strong investment capabilities already established at Marquest and contribute significantly to the growth of our firm over the coming years,” said Gerry Brocklesby, CEO of Marquest.
