Lysander named top overall group in Lipper Awards

Lysander Funds Ltd., an affiliate of Canso Investment Counsel Ltd., was a big winner at the 2022 Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards.

The Toronto-based firm received the group awards for best overall and best in bonds.

The Lipper Awards recognize mutual funds and ETFs that deliver consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers, as well as fund families with high average scores for all funds.

Lysander snagged the best overall group award from Phillips, Hager & North, a division of RBC Global Asset Management, which had won the category for the previous four years.

This year I.A. Michael Investment Counsel Ltd. again won the group award for best in equities, while Canoe Financial won for the mixed assets category.

On the ETFs side, Manulife Investment Management won the group award for equities, and Dynamic Funds won for bonds.
