IIROC says its president and CEO, Susan Wolburgh Jenah, will chair the International Forum for Investor Education (IFIE)—an alliance of regulators, industry associations and stakeholders from 14 countries that promote higher standards and information sharing in financial and investor education.

“With today’s challenging environment for financial markets, there has never been a greater need for increased investor protection and education,” says Wolburgh Jenah.

Wolburgh Jenah’s held her current role since 2008. From 2004-2007, she was vice chair of the OSC and served as general counsel and director of International Affairs.

Chartered in 2005, IFIE acts as a clearinghouse for the exchange of information and ideas through conferences, regional committees and partnerships.
