The Global Fixed Income Balanced, Global Neutral Balanced, Global Equity Balanced and Global Equity portfolios will invest in liquid alternative strategies. This initially includes the Mackenzie Global Macro Fund, which is focused on a return target of 5% to 9% with an annualized expected volatility of 7% to 11% over a five-year period, IG said in a release. The four new portfolios will be available on or about May 4, 2020. IG also announced two new non-retail pools, including the IG U.S. Long/Short Pool and the IG Global Equity Hedge Pool, as well as several management fee reductions, fund mergers and other changes to its mutual fund line up.
