Does your practice feel a little sluggish, in need of an energy boost? Maybe now that school is back in session, you feel like brushing up on your own continuing education. Well, if it’s autumn, it’s time for Advisor Forum. This year Advisor Forum aims to help you pump up your practice, featuring presentations by some of the top names in the advisor community and practice management experts. Check out this lineup of keynote speakers: John J. Bowen, Jr.’s The Future of the Business will provide a rare glimpse at the key strategies of today’s elite advisors. Moshe A. Milevsky will challenge advisors to truly think about certain ingrained assumptions made in their daily practice with Total Asset Allocation for YOU Inc. Julie Littlechild will focus on how advisors can manage client relationships based on new research among clients from across North America in her presentation The Practice: A Client’s Eye-View. Mark Tibergien’s Building the Optimal Practice Model will draw on data from over 600 financial advisory firms throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia. Jim Rogers will offer up Ten Tips to Take You to the Top! with practical practice management ideas that, when implemented, will significantly improve an advisor’s bottom line. Four of these speakers will be at all the venues except Montreal, while John Bowen will give the keynote address in la belle province as well. Montreal attendees will also have the opportunity to join a workshop with TD Asset Management regional vice-president Ralph Daghfal on How to Benefit from Boomers. There are also workshops and presentations scheduled across the country, with topics ranging from the 2005 economic outlook to coping with “sudden wealth.” So far, the Halifax Forum has been approved for CE credits and organizers are in the process of securing credits for the other regions as well. There’s a lot of knowledge packed into these two days and registration is only $109 (plus applicable taxes). This year Advisor Forum kicks off its five-city tour in Halifax on October 18, wrapping up on October 19. The two-day program then heads to Calgary on November 9 and starts in Vancouver on November 22. The Montreal edition gets underway on December 2, before the tour wraps up in Toronto, starting on December 8. For all the details on the venues and speakers, please visit the Advisor Forum website. You can also register online for a mere $99 (plus applicable taxes) — that’s $10 off the regular price!
