Manmeet Bhatia, who previously held executive roles at Aviso Wealth and Qtrade Financial Group, is the new private wealth head. Bill Tsotsos, former Canada head for BrightSphere Investment Group, will lead Franklin Templeton’s institutional business. “As the private wealth and institutional spaces evolve, we are deepening our bench with the leadership additions of Manmeet and Bill to better address the multifaceted needs of our clients,” said Franklin Templeton Canada president and CEO Duane Green, in a statement. Bhatia will oversee the firm’s private wealth channel, focusing on discretionary and high net worth clients, a release said. Tsotsos will lead the institutional business’s sales and relationship management, working with portfolio managers, products specialists and the marketing team.
