FP Canada names top CFP exam writers from February

FP Canada has named the top scorers from the February 2023 sitting of the certified financial planner exam, which had 259 exam writers and a pass rate for first-timers of nearly 76%.

In a release on Thursday, the certification body said the following candidates earned a place on FP Canada’s distinguished president’s list:

• First place: Cara Stapley, Kingston, Ont. (IG Wealth Management)
• Second place: Jerry Rawlik, Mississauga, Ont. (RBC Dominion Securities)
• Third place: Mykola Rostotski, Melville, Sask. (Cornerstone Credit Union)

“I would like to congratulate Cara, Jerry and Mykola on their exemplary performances,” Tashia Batstone, president and CEO of FP Canada, said in the release. “We at FP Canada commend you on your accomplishment and wish you all the best as you advance in your financial planning careers.”
