FP Canada names top 3 CFP exam writers

FP Canada has named the top performing candidates from the latest sitting of the certified financial planner (CFP) exam in February.

For receiving top scores on the exam, the following exam writers have joined FP Canada’s President’s List:

• Shannon Lamont, Guelph, Ont. (Educators Financial Group); first place
• Scott Swinkels, Victoria, B.C. (Raymond James Ltd.); second place
• Jingwei Raina Sun, Welland, Ont. (Sun Life Financial Services); third place

“On behalf of everyone at FP Canada, I would like to congratulate Shannon, Scott and Jingwei for their impressive performances on the CFP exam,” said Tashia Batstone, president and CEO of FP Canada, in a release. “We join you in celebrating this tremendous accomplishment and wish you continued success in your financial planning careers.”

The next two CFP exams will be held in June and October.
