Foundation Wealth opens Calgary office

Foundation Wealth Partners, an independent wealth manager that launched in Vancouver in 2019, is adding a Calgary office.

Rod Walsh and Matthew McDowell are joining Foundation Wealth from independent firm Walsh McDowell Wealth. Walsh will be a partner in his new firm.

“We launched Foundation Wealth Partners to allow advisors to take back control of their practice and offer their clients a better digital experience,” said Foundation Wealth CEO Jeff Gans in a statement.

“Rod and Mathew have developed outstanding relationships with their clients and joining Foundation Wealth will allow them to continue to grow and strengthen how they help clients achieve their financial goals.”

The firm works with affluent clients, family offices, corporations, private pensions and trusts, and also has an office in Oakville, Ont.
