EU delays expanding Russian sanctions

European Union foreign ministers have delayed the expansion of Russian sanctions, reports The Wall Street Journal.

That’s because EU ministers have gained “momentum behind a new peace initiative,” says WSJ, so they’ve “delayed for a week the implementation of sanctions against a new group of individuals and companies in Russia and eastern Ukraine.”
