Empire Life launches iPad app

The Empire Life Insurance Company has launched a new iPad application that provides simple, fast quotes on up to four term insurance products at once.

SimpleQuote provides instant quotes and fully compliant illustrations on one page without needing an internet connection. It includes the initial policy premium, renewal rates, cash values, and the initial underwriting requirements. SimpleQuote also allows advisors to easily email quotes and illustrations to their clients.

“SimpleQuote leverages mobile technology to enable advisors to respond to their clients in real time with illustrations and quotes,” said Peter Wouters, director, tax and estate planning and retail insurance products and marketing.

“This app is different because it is one of the most comprehensive, yet simple quoting tools on the market. Advisors who have seen the app tell us it is a huge advancement in how they do business, making it much easier to provide their clients with the information they need to make their insurance decision.”

Empire Life is piloting the new mobile app with a group of advisors before making it available to more advisors and on other mobile devices.
