Paquin, formerly president of IG Wealth Management in Quebec, will serve as a member of the firm’s senior leadership team while aligning the strategic direction of IGM, IG Wealth Management, Mackenzie Investments and Investment Planning Council in the province, a release from IGM said. The firm has more than $35 billion in assets under administration in Quebec, according to the release. Paquin, who assumed his new role in October, began his career at IG Wealth Management as an advisor in Manitoba. In a statement, he noted the “ambitious business transformation” underway at IGM. “I look forward to building on the significant momentum this has created for our company and to continue to support our people as they provide Quebecers with trusted investment and financial planning solutions and services,” he said in the release.
