Capital Group Canada launches equity portfolio

Capital Group Canada has launched a globally diversified equity-income portfolio that’s designed for investors seeking income and lower volatility.

Capital Income Builder applies an eligibility process to evaluate companies that pay a dividend and have potential to grow that dividend over time, says a release. The portfolio also provides a cushion in down markets.

The mandate is new to Canada, but the Capital Income Builder strategy was conceived more than 30 years ago in the U.S., says the release.
