The Global Economic Conditions Survey conducted by ACCA and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) shows that 73% of Canadian respondents are optimistic about Canadian economic growth. That’s an increase of 10% from last quarter.

“Access to growth capital was comparably very difficult in mid-2013,” says Suzanne Godbehere, head of ACCA Canada. “However, we have seen major improvements in this area in early 2014.”

Godbehere says capacity building is picking up and stabilizing, and respondents believe that conditions have bottomed out and will start recovering.
