There have been recent malware attacks targeting the operating systems of phones from Samsung, HTC, Pantech, and Motorola, reports Forbes. The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Centre (IC3) warns the malware will attempt to steal your contacts. Meanwhile, another malware, FinFisher, is transmitted when you visit a specific web link or open a text message masquerading as a system update. The spyware can remotely control and monitor your communications, reports Forbes.
