Advisor Group editor wins two awards

Yves Bonneau, executive editor of Conseiller, Conseiller.ca, Assurance and Avantages, took home two Kenneth R. Wilson awards for excellence in business journalism this week. The KRW prize is considered Canada’s most prestigious award for business-to-business publishing.

Bonneau, who also co-hosted the ceremony, won both Gold and Silver prizes in the Best Editorial category for his pieces titled, “Life Insurance in the Age of DNA Testing,” and “Watch Your Clients Get Taxed to the Bone!”

The veteran journalist and founding editor of Consellier, the Quebec counterpart to Advisor’s Edge, is no stranger to the winner’s podium having claimed both the Gold and an honourable mention at the 2009 KRW Awards for his editorials.

When he’s not writing award-worthy editorials, Bonneau leads and supervises all French editorial teams of the Financial Services Group at Rogers Publishing Ltd. in Montreal.
