Will rising rates squeeze U.S. banks?

The Federal Reserve is expected to reveal more about the state of the U.S. financial system, as well as about its oversight of banks this month, reports Bloomberg.

This is an area the U.S. central bank hasn’t been as transparent about in recent years, says the outlet, despite its effort to be clearer about monetary policy.

The Fed’s annual bank stress-test findings are scheduled to come out in March, so officials may describe to the public how a rising interest rate could affect major U.S. banks. Read more.
