It offers details on: the role of central banks in financial stability; commodity-price super cycles; changes to the Bank’s emergency lending assistance policy; and the Bank’s market operations and liquidity provision. Structural reform launched by the G20 in 2009 helps fuel growth, but only so long as countries have supportive fiscal and monetary policies in place.
