Where rich clients want to stay when they’re out of town

These hotels cost more per night than some or your clients receive in pension benefits all year.

But for the lucky few, they offer unrivalled luxury, reports the New York Times.

Take the Jewel Suite at the New York Palace. It boasts three stories, 5,000 square feet, a private elevator and views of the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building. It costs $25,000 a night, says the Times.

The Manadrin Oriental hotel, also in New York, has a 3,300 square-foot suite. It includes a 10-person dining room and floor-to ceiling windows. Going rate for a night is $28,000. Other hotels plan on opening their own super-luxury offerings soon.
