Low-income Americans squeezed by food, housing costs

Even in today’s low inflation environment, rising living costs are weighing on low-income Americans, reports The Wall Street Journal.

According to Labour Department data, it adds, the bottom 10% of earners in the U.S. spend nearly 60% of their incomes on food and housing expenses, while the wealthiest 10% only have to dedicate 40%. Read more.
