Chinese equities may join global indices

Mainland China shares may be on global benchmark indices within three years, reports FT.com.

“Reforms enacted by Beijing in the past year have had a ‘big impact’ on how investors view mainland markets, said Mark Makepeace, FTSE chief executive, who is in Asia to ‘kick off a process’ he believes will ultimately lead to Chinese equities joining FTSE’s global indices,” the report explains.
